“When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed” Jer. 29:13 MSG
There are some basic understandings that will help our walk with God and this passage before us today is one of such. God is always available to those that seek him.
In Heb.11:6, we see this same assurance that God ultimately rewards those that diligently seek Him. Of course, by seeking, we mean a longing for God, His presence, His words and His kingdom.
Unfortunately, many God seekers are after His hands and not His heart. Those who daily seek His heart, will encounter His hands in their lives too.
As believers, as we go about our day and work, let’s keep a watch on the longings of our heart. Are they God-focused or self-focused? Does God show up in your plans and even in your prayers? He desires YOU! yes YOU!, and your worship, your thanksgiving, your witness, your love and service.
The kingdom of God to which we belong, has vacancies for those who will man the affairs of the Kingdom on earth. Are you available? Will you allow God use you, your time, your office, your house, your money etc … You can be sure of His provisions and Grace.
“After Saul had ruled forty years, God removed him from office and put King David in his place, with this commendation: ‘I’ve searched the land and found this David, son of Jesse. He’s a man whose heart beats to my heart, a man who will do what I tell him.’’Acts 13:22 MSG
You are blessed.
