And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Heb.11: 6
As we come to a living relationship with God, we must do all we can to pay attention to the principle and practices He approves. This passage exalts faith as that which pleases the Lord.
Faith pleases God!
Another version reads: You can never please God without faith, without depending on him. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely look for him*. TLB
Whenever I am completely dependent on God, He is pleased. This complete dependence is what translates to the diligent seeking. It makes sense that you always want to be in the good books of the one you depend upon for your everything. Does this explain why so many Christians are not diligently, earnestly, and sincerely seeking the Lord? Because they do not truly depend on Him? Think about it.
In every sphere of life, Diligence is always rewarded ultimately. Let’s be more committed seekers – desiring to know more of Him, always wanting to spend time with Him. Don’t seek what He has to offer but Seek HIM alone.
As you go about your day, always remember FAITH PLEASES GOD i.e. God is pleased when you completely depend on Him. That complete dependence will automatically make you a diligent seeker, always making use of every opportunity to connect into His presence.
You are blessed.
