“But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God” 1 Cor. 1:24
“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption…” 1 Cor. 1:30
We are in such a time when many desire wisdom because of the confusion and darkness that is prevalent. What to do?, who to consult?, where to go?, what is the way out? etc. These questions beg for answers and indeed not having the answers makes you disadvantaged in life.
We live in a world where we know that knowledge is power. Indeed, the more you know, the greater your chances of reaching your potential and fulfilling your ambition. In the search for knowledge however, many are fascinated by the complex and the complicated. Not so with God, who has made a provision for such a time as this.
God has it all sorted out and has packaged that wisdom in one man – Christ.
Christ is the wisdom and the Power of God. To access His wisdom, means I need Christ in my life. Receiving the gift of Salvation and having Christ reign in my life guarantees unlimited access to the Wisdom of God. Read the passage below meditatively:
“For God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never find God through human brilliance, and then he stepped in and saved all those who believed his message, which the world calls foolish and silly.
22 It seems foolish to the Jews because they want a sign from heaven as proof that what is preached is true; and it is foolish to the Gentiles because they believe only what agrees with their philosophy and seems wise to them.
23 So when we preach about Christ dying to save them, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense.
24 But God has opened the eyes of those called to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, to see that Christ is the mighty power of God to save them; Christ himself is the center of God’s wise plan for their salvation.
25 This so-called “foolish” plan of God is far wiser than the wisest plan of the wisest man, and God in his weakness—Christ dying on the cross—is far stronger than any man. 1 Cor. 1:20-25
Beloved, Christ reigns in your life, therefore you have the wisdom of God resident in you. Can you dare to look inward (into your heart) for directions? God is faithful, He is waiting for you to call and He will always answer.
Remember, all of God’s wisdom is packaged in Christ. Therefore, you are not confused, stuck, stagnant, blank. You have the mind of Christ – Glory to God, Hallelujah.
You are blessed.
