In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short. Prov.24:14NLT

Happy is the man who finds wisdom and the man who gains understanding; Prov.3:13

The scripture declares that only God knows where wisdom can be found, and the fact is that wisdom belongs to Him (Job 28-12-28; Prov.9:10). No wonder, God could declare with all authority, that anyone that lacks wisdom should simply ask and He gives liberally (James 1:5-6). Therefore, one secret of accessing divine wisdom is to ask God, whenever you are at your wits end.

The question that needs to be addressed is how does God give Wisdom to them that ask? And what can we learn from the lives of those who have displayed divine wisdom in their journey through life?

“Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matt.7:24.

Therefore, the answer to our prayer of asking God for wisdom comes from making a personal commitment to living by His words every day of our lives. Just as He instructed the likes of Joshua, David, Moses etc.

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Josh.1:8

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. Psa.1:1-3

Your commands are always with me and make me wiser than my enemies. Psa.119:98

So, the first step in accessing Divine Wisdom is to establish a life based on the fear of the Lord and secondly, make a personal commitment to living daily by His words. It is that simple to establish the foundation for divine wisdom, but that foundation must be followed by the discipline of meditating and searching out His words for the specific decision, action, and steps that you want to take.

How can a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed according to your word. Psa.119:9

We must always remember that precious things are not easy to come by, you must learn to dig beyond the surface and invest the time and effort it takes to get the specific wisdom you require for any stage of your life. When you find His words for your situation, circumstance or challenge, then your light will break forth and darkness will lose its grips on you.

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 2 Pet.1:19

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. Isa.60:1-2

You are blessed.
